TSDO organized a three-day training workshop in Kabul for the technical advisors from Khost, Laghman, and Zabul provinces on the themes of “Local Governance, Media, Leadership & Management, Communications, Conflict Management, and Case Study”.

The training programme was conducted under Open Services Delivery Programme (OSD) on 19 January 2021 for three days.

While addressing the technical advisors, Mr. Wahedullah Ulfat Director General of TSDO emphasised on the technical advisor’s role in shaping better administrations as counselors. He said, “Such workshops have more importance in present times since they help the technical advisors to know the latest techniques for improving local governance.”

During the three-day training, the participants discussed creation of a better mechanism for building local capacities to provide quality services and fight corruption.

The technical advisers appointed by the provincial and district administrations in Khost, Laghman and Zabul provinces, will advise and assist the provincial governors and district governors in improving services delivery process and creating more responsive administrations in their respective provinces and districts.
